Screwtape Course
The Screwtape Letters are purported to be letters from an administrative functionary in Hell to his Nephew who is a front line tempter, trying to gather in souls. It is filled with advice about how to make a Christian turn away from God. Through it we see all the follies that man is heir to and if we read closely we can find our way to being better Christians and avoiding the usual pitfalls.
Our study of the Screwtape Letters can help you extract the maximum meaning from C.S. Lewis's book. This on-line course is comprised of 33 short lessons in the form of questions and answers about each letter as well as the final chapter called "Screwtape Proposes a Toast" (which was written much later than the letters).
We suggest a donation of $5.00 for the study, but will accept as little as $1.00 through our affiliation with Amazon.com (so you know your credit card is secure). The money directly supports the maintenance of the Screwtape site and the creation of more studies.
